AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
ABOUT THE HST AND CAMP FEES!

Due to the introduction of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) our fees on our Door-to-Door Bus Service and Neighbourhood Point-to-Point Bus Service will be increasing as of May 1, 2010.

We are pleased to inform you that for this summer only, to offer our families some 'tax relief', we will be keeping our fees for our optional programs the same. These include:
- Saddle Champs Half-Day Riding Program
- Hot Lunch Service
- BOB Camp
- Early Morning and After Camp Care
- All All-Star Half-Day Program Options
- Cedar Creek Horse & Tack Fee

Our Early Bird Camp Fees, which have been in effect since October 2009, will be increasing as of May 10, 2010. If you haven't already registered for Summer 2010, we encourage you to do so prior to May 10th in order to take advantage of our lowest camp fees. Click here to Register Online. Please also remember that if you are thinking of extending your child(ren)'s stay at Green Acres this summer, we encourage you to call the camp office prior to May 10th to receive the lowest camp fee option.

NEW PROGRAMS COMING TO MyCAMP

At Camp Green Acres we have an amazing program called MyCAMP. Each week campers get to create their own daily schedule of activities. Check out the amazing list of activities you can choose on our 'MyCAMP Program Electives' page.

This summer we are adding even more activities at MyCAMP including DJ Workshop, Glee Club, Hip-Hop, Juggling, Speed Stacking, Wild Nature, Wacky Science, Work@Camp and Cardio Kickboxing.

CAMP ENROLMENT UPDATE

Green Acres runs MANY amazing camp programs. See 'Our Family of Camps' webpage for more information.

Camp is filling up fast, so please note the programs below that have few spaces left:

Chipmunks, Beavers, Buffaloes, Bears & Eagles (Nursery - Grade 2) - Please contact the camp office for space availability in July.

BOB Camp (3 Weeks Camp Green Acres and 1 Week Camp Wahanowin) - The Boys Trips in July are waitlist only. The Girls Grades 3 & 4 July Trip is waitlist only, while limited spaces remain in July for Grade 2 Girls.

Saddle Champs (Half-Day Horseback Riding & Half-Day Traditional Camp) - Weeks 1 and 2 are waitlist only and there are very limited spaces in Weeks 3 & 4.

All-Star Sports Camp
- Ball Hockey is waitlist only in Weeks 1 thru 6 and has limited spaces available in Weeks 7 and 8.
- Rock Climbing & Rope Challenges is waitlist only in Weeks 1 thru 7 and has very limited spaces available in Week 8.
- Golf as a Major (morning sport) is waitlist only in Weeks 3 and 6 and has limited spaces available in all other weeks as a Major sport.
- Tennis as a Major (morning sport) is waitlist only in Weeks 2 and 3

The following All-Star Sports Camp programs have limited spaces in July:
- Baseball
- Skatepark Adventures
- Tennis
- Soccer
- Landsports

Ice Hockey has limited spaces in Weeks 5 & 6.

Extreme Biking has limited spaces in Weeks 3 & 6

Cedar Creek - Limited Spaces in July.

Please note that all applications are now being accepted on a "first come" basis. We do not want you or your friends to be disappointed as camp spaces are continuing to fill quickly.

Camp Green Acres is the only day camp to offer the "No-Risk Camp Refund Policy". After more than 40 years in camping we are so confident in the excellence of our staff, our facilities, our programs and our activities that we know your child will just love our camp. We'll bet your camp fees on it!
