Eddy Bogomolny and Leon Hochglaube are the Founding Directors of Camp Green Acres. Since its inception in 1966, both Leon and Eddy have been actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the camp. Not only do they spend ten months of the year preparing and planning for camp, but each day of the summer they are on the grounds with the kids, making sure everything runs smoothly and our campers have the most fun and safe summer possible.

Robyn Hochglaube grew up through the camp system attending both day camp and residential camps since the age of four. She brings with her many years of personal experience as Director of Westbound Teen Travel Camp and after completion of her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario in 2002, Robyn returned to the camp environment with even-greater vigour and commitment. During the summer you can find Robyn outside with the campers singing songs and playing games. When needed, Robyn is available to help a camper or a parent with any matter of special concern.

Kevin Gandy joined our Leadership Team in 2002 as our Busing and Operations Director. He personally plans and maps all our bus routes and takes care of our grounds, buildings and swimming pools, making sure they are above standard and always safe for our campers.

Lori Bogomolny has been involved in camp her whole life. Growing up she attended day camps and residential camps and worked in camping both as a counselor and activity specialist. Lori has also worked as a special needs coordinator at camp and as an administrative assistant in the Green Acres camp office. Lori received her law degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2005 and now brings her passion and experience in camping to Camp Green Acres.

Darren Greenspoon is the Director of our All-Star Sports Camp as well as MyCamp. In addition he is responsible for our High School programs during the school year. Darren brings with him over 20 years of camping experience in both day and residential camps. Darren has taught for many years in both Markham and Vaughan and now works year round dedicated to creating awesome programs for his campers.

Over more then 40 years, Green Acres has achieved a reputation for excellence in programming and quality of leadership. Eddy, Leon, Robyn, Kevin, Lori and Darren spend their full-time in the camping profession.
