Camp: Green Acres
Review: We're from the United Kingdom, but spend every summer in Toronto. This is the first year my 2 kids have gone to camp, and they LOVED it. It is now January, and they STILL keep telling me how much fun they had at Green Acres! Much to our surprise, they especially enjoyed the bus ride - they even make THAT enjoyable! Thanks! - CN, Scarborough

Review: Andrew’s first year at Green Acres was incredible. He loved everything and everyone there. His self-confidence & self-esteem was really built up by everyone there. He made so many friends and one boy invited him to his b-day party – Andrew was ecstatic. He can’t wait to return.

Review: My two children completed two weeks at Green Acres last summer and they haven’t stopped talking (or singing) about it. While they have enjoyed camp before neither of them have had such a passionate reaction to the experience. I am so glad that we found Green Acres!

Review: I was a camper at Green Acres. I think Camp Green Acres is the best camp in existence! You shoudn’t change anything.

Review: The A & C are great! It would be nice if the younger kids could get them home in one piece – the pottery was always broken… only complaint. They love camp & cannot wait until next summer.

We visited the camp during the summer and we were impressed with the attractive and spacious grounds, and the excellent spirit and enthusiasm that marked the atmosphere.

Review: My boys both enjoyed their camp experience last summer. The camp is well organized and has planned in many options for each child to choose from. I thought the flexibility of the program at Green Acres was what made it a success for our family.

Camp: Green Acres
Review: Phenominal! My daughter had a brilliant summer thanks to all the staff, directors, fellow campers and animals at Green Acres! Their programs were all great. Certainly one of the highlights for her was performing in “Mama Mia”. The bus was good. Their communications was good, the sleepovers were terrific. Green Acres is idyllic and plays a positive role in my daughter’s development.

Camp: All Star
Review: My son LOVED the skateboard program at Green Acres. He said the instructors were terrific and he definitely wants to come back next year! He would have liked more time “on the ropes” during his rope-climbing session. The camp is very well organized and well run. The staff is great!

Review: My daughter has participated in the Saddle Champs riding program. She has also been to the Cedar Creek riding program at the end of the season. She has enjoyed both riding programs very much, loved the counselors and the horses. Her only problem was trying to do all the great things Green Acres has to offer. I enjoyed the pick-up and drop-off at the door.

Review: We were very happy with the camp last summer. Darren is extremely organized and accommodating and it was a pleasure dealing with him.

Camp: Green Acres
Review: It was my daughter’s first year at Green Acres. As a camper and as a parent we love Green Acres! She loved her ‘role models’ (counselors) and created a special connection with each. As a parent, I found them to be remarkably mature. A combination of the Camp’s innovative programming and the counselors’ ability to create great experiences for their group – day after day – made for a wonderful summer.

Review: Every year I’m amazed at the fun my girls have at camp. I thought my daughter was getting too old for camp but she has a blast doing all the activities and participating in All-Star Sports. She is looking forward to becoming a CIT. Both my girls enjoy reconnecting with other children that they’ve seen at camp since their first year attending Green Acres. They share wonderful stories with us.

Review: My son’s experience at Green Acres was fabulous! (Again!!). We cannot say enough about the care, the quality of the programs and the high level of communication that is very much appreciated. Also, their busing system and swimming programs are top notch.

Review: My kids tell me that the camp is “Great”! It was my sons first year at Green Acres and he absolutely loved it. I think the instructional swim time was great, his skills have really improved. The only complaint my son has is that he cannot do enough archery as he really loves it. My daughter is at the Cedar Creek riding program which is run by Green Acres. She loves riding every day. Even the barn chores are “O.K.” with her.

Camp: Green Acres
Review: I want to say what an outstanding camp Green Acres is! I have never seen my children so happy and excited about anything, like they were each day when they got home from camp. Their answer every day, when I asked how it was, was “AWESOME”. I never heard a negative comment and the excitement in their voices was so wonderful to hear. Green Acres truly made the kids’ summer something they will never forget!

Camp: Green Acres
Review: My experience this year at Green Acres was amazing. I enjoyed the new flex program that my Unit Head told us about. It is a very interesting program and I was very happy with it. This year my swim instructor was very nice. She was patient with me when I did not know how to do something like my feet first sculling and I just kept on trying. The Grad staff were awesome councellors.

Camp: Green Acres
Review: My daughter had an amazing month @ Green Acres last summer. She loved her counselors and the programs especially the waterslides and ponies. She definitely wants to come back this coming summer. She has never said that about any other camp she has been to. She really loved her counselors.

Review: My kids had a fabulous time at camp, as usual. It was my son’s first year at the All-Star program. He really enjoyed the baseball and hockey. Darren, the camp director, was a great help in accommodating any changes we made to my son’s schedule. My daughter enjoyed her month in the Cedar Creek riding program. The end of season riding show was well-run and on schedule! See you next year!

Camp: Green Acres
Review: My daughter wanted me to write that last summer was her favourite camp experience. She especially liked pottery, survival and imagination. Even though camp is over she is singing her camp songs and cheers. I was really happy with her swimming progress and her ability to make up cheers.

Camp: Green Acres
Review: This was my daughters’ first camp experience. From the first day until now they are singing the camp songs, the play songs (Annie & The Mermaid) and have requested that “I don’t forget to fill out the forms for next summer”!
