Cedar Creek Facilities
Cedar Creek is fortunate to be able to offer excellent facilities. Located on an old, Pre-Confederation family farm which used to be on a horse and buggy route from the rural farms to the City of Toronto, Cedar Creek is a truly unique place to come enjoy horses and being outdoors.
Cedar Creek has 4 grass rings and an indoor arena. The barn lends a cozy feeling of closeness to horses. A renovated barn provides a well ventilated place for riders to gather in comfort to discuss lesson plans and programs. All of our campers will receive a written report on their progress in riding at the end of each camp session.
Lessons are held rain or shine with appropriate indoor activities such as demonstrations, video tapes or practical or theoretical teaching about horses and modified indoor riding lessons.
The heated swimming pools and junior waterslide park at Green Acres are available daily to our campers for recreational swimming. All aquatic activities are under the supervision of qualified lifeguards. Our campers also take part in creative arts programs and sports activities each camp day.
