Traditional Camp: Ages 6-7 Campers in Grade 1 and 2 (Bears and Eagles) now get to experience some added camp programs to challenge them and help them build on their skills. Many of the activities and the complexity of the projects have been adjusted to reflect the abilities of children in this age category. Bears and Eagles are now ready to participate in a Broadway style musical once per month! Shows are performed in front of campers and staff during the day and there is an evening performance in which parents are invited to come and watch. These campers are now old enough to stay on an optional Overnight at Green Acres. Special programs, roasting marshmallows and a hay ride are only some of the highlights. Eagle campers can take part in our overnight camp experience to Camp Wahanowin. Bear campers are eligible to choose our half day Cranium Camp by the Kinder Connection option and half day Traditional Camp in Weeks 7, 8 & 9. Both Bears and Eagles are eligible to choose our half day horse back riding program Saddle Champs Below you will find all the programs that our Bears and Eagles participate in at camp. Please note that some activities begin at the Eagle level. They have been indicated with an asterisk.
